Beyond Adobe uses a portable, pressed adobe block machine to make adobe blocks right on your property. This eliminates extra time and labor and also cuts down on transportation costs and harm to the environment.

First, we start with...yep, you guessed it, a little earth.

 

And then we mix it with just the right mixture of clay, sand, aggregate and water. 

 

The dirt is dropped into the hopper, where gravity will feed into the mold below.  When the mold is under the pressed cylinder, it will stop and the press will lower to press the dirt mixture into a block.  

 

The machine then pushes the block down the gate and it’s ready for stacking!
