A last minute decision was made to put a viewing window over the stove looking east up at Merriam Crater.

Local ponderosa pine was used for window bucks and trim, all untreated.

Simple open floor plan with kitchen/livingroom/breakfast nook. Local ponderosa pine ceiling.

 

Natural plaster bathroom

American clay plaster in the bathroom-odor eater! All walls are sealed and the bathtub is salvaged and refinished.

 

Soy crete floors

Soy-crete concrete stain and natural interior finishes.

 

Fire plated door

We found this wood door for the utilility room at a building salvage store in Flagstaff. 20 min. fire rating too! American clay plaster over drywall.

 

Almost finished

1x10 local ponderosa siding over 2' foam over adobe. Here we are installing electric/water systems.
