We are currently working on a project in Sedona, Arizona:

Working up the corners.

Two days high of adobe and the "knock-outs" have been set.
An approaching spring storm as our first week comes to an end.

An isolated wall is built up separately from the other walls.

Are we having fun or what?

Josh is banished to the "time-out" corner, perhaps to practice for his first baby, due in June!

Higher and higher the walls rise, soon to receive the lintels.

Mike wondering how he got stuck with this "good for the heart, bad for the back" gig!

Lintel height has arrived. We build up the "ends" to serve as the concrete form.

Lintels now in place, ready for shoring up and then to be poured with concrete.

The lintels are reinforced with #4 rebar running the lintel's length and keyed in to the underlaying joints.

Erik working the concrete in the lintel, minimizing voids.

One bucket at a time. Notice the rebar has been pulled up to the middle of the lintel.
