Earth plasters and natural clay plasters bring the beautiful, appealing finishes of nature to your home's interior walls. Earth plasters are a blend of pure clays and aggregates with coloring agents that come from natural, non-toxic oxides and ochre mineral pigments. Natural clay plasters are organic and environmentally friendly in both their production and application - they have a low embodied energy content and are safe to use when applying in their completed form. They are also non-dusting, mold and fade resistant and easily repairable.

Beyond Adobe produces our own true, earth plaster. The plaster may be partially stabilized with lime or Portland cement. This earth plaster makes excellent base coats for both adobe and straw bale walls. In addition, it can also serve as beautiful final plaster.
